After leaving treatment, the continued care at Malibu Shores helps guests to facilitate treatment goals to create a successful life in sobriety. Individual strategies of support and treatment plans are customized and enforced by a wide range of treatment professionals allowing our residents to address any obstacles they face and embrace the healing process. Please feel free to contact us any time for information regarding the admission process, availability and professional referrals. Malibu Shores is a private pay facility. Fees include lodging, local transportation, full access to our programs, activities and recreational opportunities.Specialized clinical and medical services are considered ancillary and will be billed separately. Although we are not a licensed facility, we do have affiliations with a wide range of local professionals for referral should any specific needs arise during a guest’s stay at Malibu Shores.


Guidelines for Acceptance:

Malibu Shores

• Medical Detoxification Completed
• Inpatient or Outpatient treatment program completed
• Mental or Emotional Disorders Stable Prior to Admission
• Medication Managed and Stabilized by Appropriate Professionals
• Currently Enrolled In Some Form of Continuing Care
• Signed Release of Information for Treatment Cooperation with Continuing Care


Criteria Excluding Admission with Referral to Alternative Resources:

Malibu Shores

• Severe Psychiatric Conditions • Severe Sexual Disorders • Aggressive Tendencies which could put other residents at risk

We will accept individuals who have not completed primary treatment but can demonstrate a level of commitment and willingness to their sobriety. The Guest Council will have to agree on their admission after an interview process. These guests must enter into some form of continuing care and follow all recommended guidelines of admission.
